NK ASSIST FU
Cross-linking Agent for Various Polymers
NK ASSIST FU is a newly developed cross-linking agent which is based on blocked isocyanatechemistry.
NK ASSIST FU imparts excellent durability to various kinds of finishing polymers, such as fluorocarbon, acrylic, resin, polyurethane and polyvinyl alcohol. As NK ASSIST FU is water dispersed and absolutely free from formaldehyde, it is very safe and convenient to use.
Characteristics
1. NK ASSIST FU generates the cross-linking reaction during the heat treatment (usually above 150℃), when polymers are treated on fabrics in conjunction with it.
2. NK ASSIST FU imparts a softer hand than polyfunctional ones such as trimethylo melamine, as it is the bi-functional cross-linking agent.
3. NK ASSIST FU is very safe and convenient to use since NK ASSIST V is water dispersed and absolutely free from formaldehyde.
4. NK ASSIST FU is effective not only to synthetic fabrics but also to the fabrics which possess an active hydrogen, such as cotton, blends, silk and wool.
5. NK ASSIST FU has an excellent compatibility with cationic polymer, although the ionic nature of it is slightly anionic.

Directions for Use
The optimum amount of NK ASSIST FU depends on the polymer and fabric type and the requirements. In general, 0.5-1% soln’ to the polymer’s concentration is recommended.
Note
1. Please put and preserve this product in cool place. After it is opened, please use it up
as soon as possible.
2. Be sure to close the cap properly when it is not used.
3. Please follow the MSDS instruction for detail information.
4. In prepared process of the merge use with the cationic surfactant, please confirm
both accommodating stability with NK ASSIST FU, although the ionic nature of it is
slightly anionic.
5. Please shut up the cup lid anytime and clean the bottle after finish process.
6. Be sure to store NK ASSIST FU in the refrigerator and keep the temperature
between 5℃~10℃.
7. Base on additives and fabric type, the durability also will be a little different,
recommend the prepared test before using it.
8. When using it on white fabric, please take care of Nox gas yellowing problem, NK
ASSIST NY maybe another substitution.
9. After finishing with NK ASSIST FU, take care of fabric feel which will become a little
tough. -
