SUNLIFE TN-042 is a special after treating agent to improve the wet fastness of acid dyes on polyamide fibers.
SUNLIFE TN-042 can exert an excellent effect for fastness and softer hand on dyed goods in one bath method , and yet
provides with equivalent fastness to the said two bath method.
Characteristics and Applications:
1.SUNLIFE TN-042 exerts an excellent effect to improve the wet fastness 、Colorfastness to Perspiration 、Colorfastness to Water、Colorfastness to Laundering、polyamide fibers dyed with acid dyestuffs in one bath method.
2.SUNLIFE TN-042 is easily soluble in cold water and liquid , so that the product is of great convenience for using.
3.Effect of SUNLIFE TN-042 is not affected by the existence of iron ions, chloride ions , nonionic surfactants , etc.
4.SUNLIFE TN-042 is a liquid, no smell, good working efficiency.
5.SUNLIFE TN-042 does not affected physical properties of polyamide fibers in comparison with Tannic acid.
6.SUNLIFE TN-042 does not affect the rubbing fastness of the goods.

Please put required amount of into bath filled with water , and stir continuously.
. Aftertreatment bath is set with
SUNLIFE TN-042 1 ～ 6 % (o.w.f.)
Acetic acid(99%) or Citric acid 0.2～ 0.6 g/l
The acidity of the bath must be approximately pH 4.0 Dyed polyamide fibers materials which are
thoroughly rinsed are enteredinto the prepared bath.The treatment is given for 20 – 30 minutes at a
temperature of 75 – 80 ℃ ,and then followed by soaping and drying process.The most suitable
amount of SUNLIFE TN-042 may vary according to kinds of dyestuff , the required depth of shade
and method of treating.
Standard quantity of this product for each depth of shade are as below.

Light shade 1 – 3 % (o.w.f.)
Middle shade 2 – 4 %(o.w.f.)
Dark shade 4 – 6 %(o.w.f.)
To obtain optimum effect of SUNLIFE TN-042 , the pH must be adjusted to approximately 4.0.
Following figures show the required quantity of Citric acid or Acetic acid respectively for each amount of
SUNLIFE TN-042. -
